Postwaite Cards All-American Performance in Triple Jump

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—Three members of the Lake Erie College track and field team competed at the 2015 NCAA Division-II Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Grand Valley State University Friday (May 22).

Joe Postwaite (Rochester, N.Y./Gates-Chili) carded the top finish for the Storm, placing seventh in the triple jump with a leap of 15.30 meters (50'2.5").  He earned his third All-American honor for his outdoor career and his seventh overall between indoor and outdoor seasons.

Destiny Prusky (Newton Falls, Ohio/Newton Falls) placed 13th in the high jump, clearing 1.65 meters (5'5") in her third Outdoor Championship.

Douglas Moorer (Copley, Ohio/Copley) placed 16th in his first Outdoor Championships for discus with a throw of 49.32 meters (161'10"). 

Postwaite competes in the high jump Saturday (May 23) to wrap-up competition.
