PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College track and field team will be in action Saturday (February 20th) as they compete in the Kent St. tune up meet.  Head Coach Grant Lofdahl said "The competition at Kent will be very good, and we hope to come out of this meet in the best possible shape for the two huge meets coming up".

"We have three goals for the KSU Tune-Up this weekend. First, get healthy for the conference championships, which mean we are resting some of our best athletes and others are only competing in one event" said coach Lofdahl. "Second, move up on the GLIAC and national lists. And third, finalize our GLIAC meet lineup, as many of those who compete this weekend are looking to earn a spot on the conference meet roster", according to coach Lofdahl.
Lake Erie will return to the track Friday (February 26th) Saturday (February 27th) and Sunday (February 28th) as they compete in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) championships.
