FINDLAY, Ohio – The Lake Erie College track and field team was in action today as they wrapped up the GLIAC Indoor Championships. Head Coach Grant Lofdahl said "We're very pleased with the meet as a whole. To score 54 total points and have both teams inside the top-9 is great progress".
The Storm women were led by a strong showing in the triple jump. The triple jump effort was led by Nadia Lee (Tucker, Ga. / Tucker) as she cleared a distance of 39 feet and one inch, which earned her second place honors. Danielle Corbin (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Walnut Grove (Ga.)) grabbed fourth place honors in the triple jump clearing a distance of 38 feet six inches.
Coach Lofdahl said "Nadia is just clutch, no matter what happens she is going to show up in the biggest meets. She's the heart and soul of our program".
