Pritchard qualified for Nationals in the 800 meter. He was the runner up in the 800 meter in his last meet at the GLIAC Championships, and this will be his first appearance at the national meet. Pritchard will be the 16th seed in the 800 meter.
Pritchard added "Being at Nationals is a very special honor, I am grateful I am able to represent Lake Erie at the national level. My goal is to just go out and compete and give it my all".
Head Coach Grant Lofdahl said "Both of them are competing at nationals for the first time in their careers and on paper are not projected to get into the top-8 and score points. They don't run track meets on paper however, and these two are tough competitors who tend to step up their effort in big time meets. We're going to focus on the process and they'll do what they know how to do, and the results will take care of themselves. It's a great opportunity for Danielle and Jordan to compete against the best in the country, and I know they'll give it 100%".
Corbin will start her national's competition on Thursday (March 9) at 2 p.m. and Pritchard will start his competition Thursday (March 9) at 5:50 p.m.
