The mark set by Horning in the 5000 meter was a new school record. Evan Loughman (Sheridan, Ohio / Sheridan) led the way for the men in field events as he took sixth in the shot put with a personal best throw of 14.26 meters (46 feet, 9.5 inches).
Coach Lofdahl added "The 5K guys capped off what was a good day for us, with a PR and outdoor school record for Vince and solid PRs for Jordan".
