Storm Ready to Run at John Homon Invite (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College track and field team will be in action Saturday (April 7) when they compete in the John Homon Invite at the University of Mount Union.

Storm Report:  The Storm last competed at the Amy Adams Invite.  The Storm was led by Montrell DeVaughn (Canton, Ohio / Canton McKinely) as he won the men's 400 meter dash, and Luca Hartman (Bonnievale, South Africa / Hcei Meisieskod Bloemhof) added a second place finish in the women's 400 meter.   

Head Coach Giles Davis said, "The scheduled meet at the University of Mt. Union will provide strong competition from Division II and Division III programs from the state of Ohio.  The coaching staff continues to emphasize competing no matter what the conditions, and we are confident the athletes will accept the challenge."  

Forecast:  Lake Erie will return to the track Friday (April 13) when they travel to compete in the Walsh Invitational.
