Storm Set to Compete at Walsh Invitational (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College track and field team will be in action Friday (April 13) when they travel to Walsh University, to compete in the Walsh Invitational. 

Storm Report:  The Storm was in action last weekend as they competed at Mount Union.  The Storm men were led by Montrell Devaughn (Canton, Ohio / Canton McKinely) as he placed second in the 200 meter dash, as he broke the tape in a time of 22.64 seconds.  The Storm women were led by Madyson Plante (Marlborough, Mass. / Marlborough) as she placed third in the women's high jump, as she cleared a height of 1.61 meters or five feet, 3.25 inches.

Head Coach Giles Davis said, "Looking at the forecast, this weekend will provide a great opportunity for the men's and women's team to compete against solid competition from neighboring G-MAC schools in ideal conditions."

Forecast: Lake Erie will return to the track Saturday (April 21) when they travel to Baldwin Wallace, to compete in the Sparky Adams Invitational.
