  • Plante named on the NCAA DII 2019 USTFCCCA All-Academic list

    Madyson Plante has been named on the 2019 NCAA DII USTFCCCA All-Academic list. Plante, a multi-event athlete, is one of a total of 448 women who earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors during the 2018-19 season. 
  • Storm Put Six On G-MAC All-Conference Team

    The Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced its track & field all-conference teams this afternoon and Lake Erie has six student-athletes named. The group consists of Sydney Crouch, Luca Hartman, Johanna Moeller, Hailey Nielsen, Imane Snyder, and Ashley West.
  • Storm Shows Its On The Rise In G-MAC Championships

    The G-MAC Championships came to a close today with the Lake Erie women’s track & field team coming in seventh place. The Storm were able to come up with 43 points on the weekend to top last year’s total by 22.
  • Storm Women Sixth After Second Day

    Day 2 of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships was a good one for Lake Erie. The Storm were impressive on the women’s side and stand in the middle of the pack with 11 points with more on place for tomorrow.
  • Track & Field Opens G-MAC Championships Today

    The G-MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships open up today and Lake Erie is looking to make some more noise in its second year. Not much scoring will take place today with the exception of the 10,000 meters, but the multi-events will start with the women’s heptathlon and the men’s decathlon.
  • Pagan Wins Discus To Highlight Denison Meet

    Lake Erie sent a few athletes to Denison University for a last-meet tune-up before next week’s G-MAC Championships on Friday. The Storm did well despite only sending six athletes. Despite that, four of them were able to place.
  • Track & Field Impressive at Baldwin Wallace

    Poor weather altered the plans of Lake Erie Track & Field, but the Storm were able to compete at the 50th Annual Sparky Adams Invitational hosted by Baldwin Wallace on Saturday afternoon. The Storm did well as the majority of those competing were able to place.
  • Track & Field Competes At Walsh Invite

    The Lake Erie Track & Field team had a short trip this weekend as the Storm headed down I-77 to Stark County for the Walsh Invitational. Plenty of Green and White thin clads did well on the day with multiple placers.
  • Track & Field Does Well at Tiffelberg Open

    Lake Erie Track & Field headed to Tiffin this weekend and competed in the Tiffelberg Open at Hoernemann Stadium. The Storm women turned in an impressive fifth place finish with 51 points, while the ment finished ninth with 20.

    The Lake Erie track & field team had a busy weekend with Storm student-athletes being split and sent to Bridgewater and Wooster invitationals. The Green and White performed well with multiple people placing at both locations.

    The outdoor track & field season got underway this weekend and saw Lake Erie travel south to Muskingum for the Amy Adams Invitational.
  • Moeller, Plante Named to G-MAC All-Conference Team

    The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced its all-conference team Thursday and a pair of Lake Erie Storm thin clads have earned the postseason honors. Johanna Moeller was named a Second Team selection while Madyson Plante was place on the Third Team.
  • Plante Wraps Up Indoor Season At National Championships

    The indoor track & field season came to a close today for Madyson Plante and the Lake Erie Storm. Plante competed in the high jump, but was unable to clear the opening height of 1.63 meters.
  • Plante Qualifies For Indoor National Championships

    Lake Erie College will be represented at the 2019 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National championships as Madyson Plante has been named a qualifier. The sophomore will compete in the high jump after posting the ninth-best mark in the nation this season.
  • Storm Finishes Seventh At G-MAC Championships

    The Great Midwest Athletic Conference held its indoor track & field championships this weekend at Findlay and Lake Erie’s women’s team placed seventh with 38 points. Tiffin took home the title cruising to 188.5 points. Walsh was the runner-up with 103.
  • Moeller Highlights Storm at Oberlin

    With a strong contingent of athletes at Oberlin’s BSN Sports Invitational on Friday, Lake Erie dotted the result board at the Heisman Field House. Johanna Moeller has one of the best days by anyone on the team as she placed first in two events.
  • Track & Field Has Successfull Day at Mount Union

    Lake Erie track & field continues to improve week after week under the leadership of Head Coach Giles Davis. This week saw the Storm head south on 44 to Mount Union to participate in the Jim Wuske Invitational.

    Day Two of the UIndy Tom Hathaway Distance Classic provided many highlights on both teams a day after Madyson Plante made the headlines with a provo mark in the pentathlon. This time it was both men and women placing in various events.
  • Plante Plants Herself as G-MAC Athlete of the Week

    After last weekend’s impressive performances at the Tom Hathaway Campus Madyson Plante has been named the G-MAC Female Athlete of the Week. In addition to setting a school record as she won the heptathlon, but she hit two NCAA provisional marks as well.

    It’s a busy weekend for the Lake Erie track & field team as it headed to UIndy to participate in the two-day Tom Hathaway Classic. Day One was a great one for the Storm and was highlighted by Madyson Plante’s first place performance in the pentathlon.
  • Track & Field Opens Season at Mount Union

    The first meet of the indoor track & field season took place today as Lake Erie headed to Mount Union for the annual Toy Drive Collegiate Invitational. The amount of athletes that participated were limited, but one Storm racer did particularly well.
