PAINESVILLE, Ohio - The Lake Erie Storm women's basketball team will head on the road for a Great Midwest Athletic Conference matchup against the Malone University Pioneers (14-13, 12-9) in their 2019 season finale. The Storm looks to improve their 11-15 overall record, and 8-13 G-MAC record.
Malone came to the Osborne Center in January and went back to Canton victorious. That game had a final score of 76-46, in which three Pioneers had double digit points. Both Josie Chaddock and Laney Billing recorded 11 points for the Storm.
Malone's game is quite the one woman show, with Robin Campbell leading the Pioneers in scoring, assists, steals, and shooting percentage from both the field and range.
Chaddock leads the team in scoring (13.7 ppg), assists (4.0 apg), and steals (2.2 spg), while Ashley West leads in rebounds (5.6), Breanna Bauer leads in shooting percentage from the field (51.4), and Farrah Benner leads in shooting percentage from range (35.4).
