    Senior forward Breanna Bauer was named to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Second Team, as the league office announced the 2021 postseason awards on Thursday. This is the second consecutive season Bauer has received this award voted by the conference head coaches

    Lake Erie ended its 2020-21 women’s basketball season Saturday afternoon in a 46-96 loss to the defending G-MAC champions, Walsh. The Storm ends the season with an overall record of 3-18, and 3-18 in conference play, with the win Walsh, improves to 16-5, 15-6 in Great Midwest contests.

    The final score may not have turned out as everyone hoped, but the Lake Erie women's basketball game against Kentucky Wesleyan on Monday could still be considered a success. Despite losing to the Panthers 94-68, the Storm still left the Jerome T. Osborne Athletic Center having done something to be proud of.

    On a snowy Tuesday night, the Lake Erie women's basketball team faced off against the visiting Walsh Cavaliers, losing by a score of 89-72. The match was the third in a three-game home stand for the Storm, who defeated Ursuline in double overtime on Saturday before losing to Trevecca Nazarene on Monday.

    It was a long way coming, but the Lake Erie women's basketball team came back from behind to defeat the Ursuline Arrows in double overtime Saturday, taking their first victory at home on the season by a score of 108-99.

    The Lake Erie women’s basketball team fell to Kentucky Wesleyan 63-82 on Thursday night at the Owensboro Sportscenter. With the loss, Lake Erie falls to 1-12 overall, 1-12 G-MAC, and Kentucky Wesleyan improves to 10-4, 10-4 G-MAC.

    The Lake Erie College women's basketball team lost at home against visiting Findlay Monday night, dropping the game by a score of 88-62. While the victory lifted the Oilers above the .500 mark to 8-7, the defeat put the Storm's season total at 1-11.

    Lake Erie's women's basketball team dropped a road affair to Findlay Saturday, losing to the Oilers by a score of 95-61. Two days after topping Hillsdale for their first win of the season, the Storm lost to Findlay, who improved to 7-7 on the year. The Storm fall to 1-10.

    The Lake Erie College women's basketball team came tantalizingly close to defeating Cedarville on Saturday, losing by a score of 58-55. The win would have been the first for the Storm on the season, while the visiting Yellow Jackets improved to 11-1 with the victory.

    On Saturday afternoon, the Lake Erie College women's basketball team fell to the visiting Malone Pioneers, 58-42. The loss drops the Storm's record to 0-6, while Malone improves to 3-7 in a season in which G-MAC teams only play other teams within the conference.

    The Lake Erie women’s basketball team returns back to action Saturday, Jan. 16 as they host Malone (2-7 G-MAC). This will be the second match between the two teams this season. In the first battle on New Year's Eve, the Pioneers downed the Storm 112-63.
