Howe scored 10 goals and added three assists in two games last week, helping Lake Erie to a 1-1 record in a pair of nonconference games. She had six goals and assist in an 18-15 loss at Tiffin and then scored four times and added two helpers in a 16-11 victory at Indiana Tech Saturday, securing the team's first win of the year.
Mendoza totaled five goals and two assists last week, including a three-goal, five-point day to help secure that first victory at Indiana Tech. Both her goal and assist totals in that game were a season (and career) high. She also scored twice against Tiffin.
The Storm is back in action today (Mar. 29) as they travel to face Urbana University in a non-conference showdown at 4:00 p.m.
