Storm Women Fall to 6th-Ranked CW Post at Home

PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Sixth-ranked C.W. Post scored six times in the first eight minutes en route to a convincing 21-0 victory over the Lake Erie College women's lacrosse team in East Coast Conference play Sunday afternoon (April 10) at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium.

The visiting Pioneers (7-1, 3-0 ECC) led 13-0 at halftime and had a 36-4 edge in shots over the Storm (2-6, 0-2 ECC).

Six players had two goals while a total of 10 different Pioneers scored in the game. Three goalies combined to make two saves.

Sophomore Brittany Rabuano (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) led the Storm with two shots.

Lake Erie will look to end its three-game losing streak on Tuesday night, April 12, when it wraps up a four-game homestand against nonconference rival Gannon University at 7 p.m. under the lights at Britt Stadium.
