Storm on the Road to Face #5 Le Moyne (PREVIEW)

STORM LOOKS FOR TWO STRAIGHT: The Lake Erie College women's lacrosse team is looking to notch their second straight win as they travel to Le Moyne College on Saturday (March 15).

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm picked up their first win of the season on Tuesday (March 11) at Notre Dame College.  In the final minute of a back-and-forth contest, Hana Abu-Kwiek (Lewis Center, Ohio/Olentangy Orange) found Kayla Bohn (Louisville, Ky./Eastern) for the game-winning goal.  Katie Holden (Whitby, Ont./Anderson C.V.I) made 10 saves, picked up four groundballs and caused one turnover in net for the Storm in the win.

STORM SCOUT: Abu-Kwiek leads LEC with eight goals and one assist. She also leads in draw controls with 12.  Ashriel West (Jamesville, N.Y./Jamesville Dewitt) and Samantha Gryba (Okotoks, Alberta/National Sport Academy) have netted five goals apiece.  Emma Miller (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) has tallied six points on four goals and two assists.  Holden leads the Storm with 11 groundballs while her and West have three-caused turnovers each.  In net, Holden has made 25 saves.

OPPOSITION POSITION: The Dolphins enter Saturday's game after defeating Mercyhurst University 15-11 on Monday (March 10).  Maggie Monnat leads Le Moyne with 11 points on six goals and five assists.  Megan Collins has picked up eight groundballs while Victoria Nies has eight draw controls.  Christina Humbert leads all Dolphin goalies with 17 saves.

SERIES HISTORY: This is the first meeting between the Le Moyne and Lake Erie.

NEXT UP: The Storm hosts Mercyhurst on Wednesday (March 19) for their first home game of the season.
