"We are ready to compete," said Storm head coach Kevin Hoogenboom. "It will be interesting to see how we do this weekend at Kent State. Our lineup could feature as many as five true freshmen. Regardless of who is out there, we expect them to compete to the best of their ability for seven minutes."
The Storm will make their first open appearance at Michigan State on Sunday. Results can be tracked here for the open.
"The MSU Open will be one of the toughest events of the year. We love to give our guys the chance to test themselves against some of the best wrestlers in Division I and the BIG 10. The freshmen/sophomore division allows our younger wrestlers to gain valuable experience while still competing in their age group."
