Gieson Ranks Third in NCAA

PAINESVILLE, Ohio (September 11, 2008) - The NCAA released its first Division II women's soccer statistical standings for the season this week and Lake Erie College goal keeper Chelsea Gieson (Grants Pass, Ore./North Valley) was among the best in the nation.

The freshman is third in saves per game, averaging 13.33 per match. She has 40 total saves in three contests through the Sept. 7 deadline. Her game high of 22 saves against Wheeling Jesuit University ranks number one in NCAA Division II.
