Storm Fall in Close Match at Seton Hill

GREENSBURG, Pa.-- The Lake Erie College women's soccer team (0-3) fell to Seton Hill University (1-2) in a close 1-0 match in Greensburg, Pa.

After back and forth action in the first half, the Griffins were able to find the back of the net in the 31st minute. Andrea Wisniewski scored off a cross from Heather Apodaca to gain the 1-0 advantage. Seton Hill was able to protect their lead in a scoreless second half.

The two teams were even on shots for the game at 11. Junior goalkeeper Megan Baldacci (Cavecreek, Ariz./Cactus Shadows) recorded four saves in net for the Storm. Senior Kaitlyn Holland (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) led Lake Erie with three shots.

The Storm return to action September 10th, hosting Notre Dame College at Jack Britt Stadium in Painesville, Ohio at 7 p.m.
