PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Lake Erie College women's soccer team will look to build upon a win in their last game with a non-conference game on Tuesday (Sept. 27) at home. The Storm will host future G-MAC rival Ursuline at Slattery Field.
Storm Report: The Storm are 5-2 overall and 1-1 in the GLIAC after a 1-1 weekend on the road. On Friday (Sept. 23), the Storm fell 2-0 to Ashland. On Sunday (Sept. 25), Lake Erie defeated Tiffin 2-1 as Alecia Dipre (Mentor, Ohio / Mentor) scored one goal and assisted on a goal from Elizabeth Awuah (Pickerington, Ohio / Pickerington Central).
Series History: Lake Erie and Ursuline have faced off once before on the pitch. Lake Erie won the matchup last year on the road. Ashley Pryce (Stow, Ohio / Stow Munroe Falls) scored two goals in the 3-0 win.
Opposition Position: The Arrows enter the matchup with a 6-1-1 overall record. In their last game, Ursuline defeated Cedarville 3-1.
Storm Forecast: The Storm will head to Michigan for two GLIAC matchups this weekend. Lake Erie will take on Saginaw Valley on Friday (Sept. 30) and Northwood on Sunday (Oct. 2).
