Storm and Notre Dame (OH) End In Draw

(Painesville, Ohio) - The Lake Erie women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw against Notre Dame College on Saturday afternoon at Muller Field in the South Euclid, Ohio. 

The Storm now move to 2-0-1 while the Falcons go to 1-1-1.

Freshman goalkeeper Megan Biddell has yet to allow a goal this season. Biddell highlighted the match for the Storm with 5 saves, the Falcons outshot the Storm 12-0 in the match. 

The back four of the Notre Dame defense applied pressure to the Lake Erie offense all match long. In the last 65 minutes of play, the Falcons recorded eight shots of their 12 in the match. 

Lake Erie women's soccer team will have several days to rest before starting conference play against Ursuline. Lake Erie and Ursuline will meet up at Jack Britt Stadium on Saturday, September 21, at 6 p.m.
