Storm Falls to Drury, 3-0

AURORA, Ill.- The Lake Erie College volleyball team was defeated today (October 18th) by Drury University, 3-0.  With the loss the Storm fall to 2-18 overall and 0-11 in the conference and with the win Drury improves to 12-8 and 3-8 in conference play. 

Lake Erie had a total of eight kills on the day and Drury had 41 kills total.  The game high in kills was posted by Sara Borneman of Drury with 11 kills in all. 

The defense for the Storm was led by freshman Asya Hobbs (Lynwood, Ill. / Bishop Noll) who had six digs in the match.  Lake Erie had a total of 14 digs and Drury totaled 29 digs.  The high in digs for the match was eight by B.J. Specht of Drury University. 

Lake Erie College will be back in action Friday (October 24th) when they travel to take on Malone University at 7 P.M.
