Storm Returns Home for Matchup With Arrows (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio- After six matches on the road, the Lake Erie College women's volleyball team will return to the Osborne Center for a Great Midwest matchup with the Ursuline College Arrows on Saturday (Nov. 4) evening at 5:00 PM.

Storm Report: Lake Erie fell 3-1 to #21 Wheeling Jesuit on Wednesday (Nov. 1) night on the road. Four players had double-digit kills while five different players made double-digit digs. The Storm enters the matchup with Ursuline with a 22-8 overall record. Lake Erie leads the East Division with a 12-3 conference record. Brooke Peiffer (Lansing, Mich. / Holt) earned her second East Division Player of the Week in as many weeks on Monday. Peiffer had 29 kills in seven sets, an average of 4.14 kills per sets, along with a .481 hitting percentage.

Opposition Position: Ursuline is 8-18 overall and 3-12 in Great Midwest action this season. The Arrows fell 3-1 to Davis & Elkins College in their last match last weekend.

Series History: Lake Erie leads the series with the Arrows by a 3-1 advantage. The two teams met on the road in September with the Storm taking the 3-0 victory.

Storm Forecast: The Storm will remain home for the final two regular season games against Walsh and Malone next weekend.
