Volleyball Falls To Ursuline


The Lake Erie Storm volleyball team fell to the Ursuline College Arrows (4-18,2-6 G-MAC) tonight with a final score of 1-3 tonight. The loss puts the Storm at 9-17 overall with a G-MAC record of 3-5. 

Three Storm players ended up earning double-digit kills at the end of the match (10) including sophomore Maria Blatnik, and freshman Dora Olah. Storm sophomore Alexandria Becerra put up 24 assists. Two recorded double-doubles against the Arrows. Carolin Santa earned a double-double, recording 10 kills and 12 digs, and senior Moe Briggs recorded the first double-double of her career with 21 digs and 10 assists.

Volleyball prepares to head to West Virginia for a pair of matches between Alderson Broaddus and Ohio Valley, before finishing their last homestand of the year. The match against the Battlers is set for 7 pm on Friday, November 8.
