TIFFIN, Ohio—The Lake Erie College cross country teams competed at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships hosted by Tiffin University.
The men raced an 8k. Vincent Horning had the top finish for the Storm, placing 41st with a time of 25:36.4, a personal and Lake Erie best. Braden Burk finished 115th with a personal best 27:52.7. Jacob Godec placed 120th with a time of 28:27.1, also a personal best. Steven White ran a personal best 29:21.3 to place 126th.
All three Storm women set personal records in the 6k. Gina Henley had the top finish for the women, placing 119th with a time of 24:57.2. That time was the second fastest in school history. Taylor Ritchie had the second best performance for the Storm, taking 132nd place with a time of 26:41.1. Emily Kotfis took 138th with a time of 28:51.9.
Grand Valley State University captured both the men's and women's titles.
