Storm Ready to Run at Pittsburgh Invite (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – The Lake Erie College cross country team will be in action Saturday (Oct. 7) when they travel to compete in the Pittsburgh Invite.

Storm Report: The Storm is coming off a strong showing at the All-Ohio Championships last weekend in Cedarville.

Interim Head Coach Matt Stuck said "I like having a tough course at this point in the season, it give our athletes a good chance to work on racing for places and not only focusing on the times. With championships approaching and the faster times starting to come, I like where we are at in your training cycle. This meet fits our need for some place focused racing and the fact that none of our athletes have races on this course really allows us to do that. We will also be racing against some teams from the eastern regions and cross regional matchups are always exciting".

Forecast: Lake Erie will return to action Saturday (Oct. 21) when they travel to Nashville, Tennessee to compete in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships.
