Shots (on goal)
The Lake Erie Storm men's soccer team took on the Northwood University Timberwolves at Paradiso Field on the campus of Tiffin University, and came up short in a 2-0 loss.
In the first half, the Storm allowed the first goal of the match in the 25th minute, and they went into the break with a 1-0 deficit to make up for. In the second half, the Storm defense played a strong game, but Northwood was able to snag a 71st minute goal to seal their victory.
Despite missing out on adding a win to this fall campaign, the Storm did have some bright areas of note. The Storm led the way on shots for much of the game, and senior goalkeeper Tom John continued to anchor the Storm defensively by adding 2 saves in the game.
The Storm continued their neutral site action at Noon on Sunday, September 12 against Saginaw Valley State with Paradiso Field at Tiffin University hosting the match.
